Alumnus Tom Miller, (Class of 1981) will donate £5,000 to York Opportunity Scholarships if 100 members of the staff and student body give any amount to any cause on Giving Day.

If we receive 25 donations to Giving Day from US based alumni, York Alumnus Anthony O'Carroll (Class of 1986, English and Art History, Vanbrugh) will donate £3,000 to York Futures Scholarships.

If people from 30 different countries give to any cause this Giving Day, £5,000 will be unlocked from a generous donor for Equal Access Scholarships.

The Graduating Class Challenge
If a member of every graduating class in York’s history makes a gift to Giving Day, the University Executive Board will donate £8,000 to Equal Access Scholarships.

If 150 alumni who graduated between 2000 and 2022 give to any fund, Elaine Gallagher will donate £3,500 for York Opportunity and Equal Access Scholarships.

If 150 alumni who graduated before 2000 give to any fund, a supporter of the University will donate £3,500 for York Opportunity and Equal Access Scholarships.

In Memory of Chris Adamson (class of 1968), his University friends will give £1,500 to Mentally Fit York if we receive 10 gifts from the first 5 graduating classes (1966-70)
